Jalandhar trainees visited Maninder Beauty Parlor, Samrawan

On February 12, 2020, the Assistant Beauty Therapist (ABT) of Jalandhar center trainees had been to Maninder Beauty Parlour at Samrawan. The main objective of the visit was to make the students understand the ground realities of a parlor and to make them learn the skills of handling the clients.

Ms. Ritu Sharma (Trainer, Assistant Beauty Therapist) accompanied these trainees to Maninder Beauty Parlour at Samrawan. On arrival, Mr. Karan (Manager) welcomed the trainees with an open arm. Without any delay, he started to discuss the hairstyles; trendy hairstyles and haircuts the new generation follows and is very fond of. He gave the trendy hair cut demonstration to the students so that they can see and learn how to use the machine for hair styling. Besides this, he also showed some products used for hairstyling; Tong Roll machine, Hair Straightening Device, and Crimping Machine. About the Crimping machine, he said it is very much used these days and is used to make bridal and party hairstyles.

Post his briefing the trainees asked several questions related to beauty and wellness. Mr. Karan addressed all their queries and told the trainees that in this profession there is no such limit to earn, it is completely up to the employee’s ability. And this industry is mushrooming faster than ever and so there is a vast job opportunity. As he satisfied the trainees with his answers he also gave some important tips to the students to interact with the customers saying, “You must be humble with the clients and should deal with a smiling face.”

It was a great learning experience for all the trainees. Everyone thanked Mr. Karan for the practical inputs.
