Batch Graduation plus parents meeting at Maram, Manipur

A day, filled with pride for both parents and trainers to see trainees graduating, fully ready to take up jobs in the market. It was a moment of great motivation for the parents' who came for the Parent-teacher Meeting-II at Don Bosco Tech Society (Maram) on March 12, 2020. Mr. T. Peter Rangnamei (Secretary & Director, Manipur North Economic Development Association) was the Chief Guest of the day. The program started at 10:30 am and continued till 12:30 pm. 29 trainees and 31 parents graced the day with their esteemed presence. 

As the program started Mr. Sandeep Neog (Trainer, F&B) welcomed the gathering. Fr. Sabastian Jose (Centre in-charge), thereby, shared some insights said, “As you move out, it does not mean reached your goal. Hence, keep chasing your dreams. Be a good citizen of our country.” Henceforth, the distribution of offer letters was carried-out through Fr. Jose.

Mr. Peter addressed the trainees and he brainstormed them with the question about their motive for pursuing vocational training over a degree. In a quick response to this, the resource person received varied answers. And he listened to each saying, “That’s a wise decision.” Referring to the nature of jobs he added “No job, in this world is small or big, as long as we work with dedication. It is only through this sheer dedication we can become someone in life.” Finally, as he congratulated the trainees and wished them the best of luck in their future endeavors. 

Parents, concern about their children’s future, raised several questions related to jobs and thus the salary package. The trainers shared with the parents from the company’s policy, payments, nature of work for each domain to career growth.
