Valedictory and Batch Inauguration Function

Don Bosco Tech Society, as always, laid another significant milestone today. It was the Valedictory and Batch Inauguration for the trainees of Automotive Service Advisor, Sales Consultant, and Two Wheeler Service Technician domains, of the Transport Nagar center, Lucknow held on September 29, 2022. It was indeed a happy moment for all of us to see 66 trainees from the first batch graduate and moved on in their lives to join the labor workforce. On the other hand, officially, the inauguration was held for the 108 budding aspirants for the second batch, to be trained as Automotive Service Advisors, Sales Consultants, and Two Wheeler Service Technicians.

We were elated to have dignitaries on the dais from different walks of life. Mr. Anand John Joseph (Head - Corporate HR, Royal Enfield). He was the chief guest of the event. The other members were Mr. Andra Vamsi I.A.S. (Mission Director, UPSDM) was the guest of honor who joined virtually of course. Fr. George Mathew (Director, Don Bosco Tech Society) was also present.

The venue was vibrant with the presence of members from the EICHER Group Foundation. They were Mr. Mukesh Singh (RSM N-5, Royal Enfield), Mr. Puneet Bora (RBM N-5, Royal Enfield), Mr. Ravi Sharma (RSM E-1, Royal Enfield), Mr. Kimothi S (Manager - Finance, Royal Enfield), Mr. PJ Kabilan (Lead – Service Training, Royal Enfield), Mr. Gaurav Srivastava (Training Manager – Service, Royal Enfield) and Mr. Lokesh Sinha (Training Manager – Sales, Royal Enfield).

The chief guest acknowledged the transformation in youth through DB Tech’s interventions and ceating the pathways to employment. While speaking about the training he exhorted the trainees on the need for holistic development. And he said that this will give an edgde over other job seekers. During the address, Mr. Joseph raised concern about the skills manpower and said, “Don Bosco Tech is bridging the skill gap in the state of Uttar Pradesh.”

The guest of honor, Mr. Vamsi gave some advice and said, “Be regular for the training.” In addition to that “Take full advantage of the training and resources provided,” he said. Finally, the speaker said, “Today, multi-skilled personnel are preferred in the job market. So, get trained in different skills.”

It was one of a kind where some passed-out trainees came forward to express their gratitude to Don Bosco Tech Society for the opportunity, and to EICHER Group Foundation for their collaboration and support. Finally, it was their mentors who left no stone unturned who molded them, shaped them, and above all trusted them.

Performances like dances and singings were a part of the program to breathe life into it. The entire program went on well, as per the plan. It was concluded with a sumptuous meal.
