Alumni Meet Cum Republic Day celebration 2020

It was January 26, 2020, when Don Bosco Tech (Hospet) successfully hosted the dual celebration. The one was ‘Alumni Meet’ and the other ‘Republic Day’ with the able guidance of Fr. Siju (Center Head, Hospet). Trainees arrived at the designated spot at 7:30 AM. They then cleansed the entrance of the building and decorated the place with an artistic Rangoli drawing to begin the day.

Mr. Dharmendra (Trainer, Electrical) welcomed the august guests gathered around the National flag mast. Fr. Siju hoisted the flag and addressed the trainees.

On the same occasion, they observed the ‘Alumni Meet 2020 too. The program was attended by 100+ alumni, headed together from different parts of Karnataka. It kick-started with a prayer song, sung by trainees. Mr. Manjunath (Trainer, CE & ITES) welcomed the guests. Fr. Georg (Director of Social Work Department, Don Bosco, Yadagiri) was the chief guest. Fr. Siju and Fr. Yesudass (Administrator, Don Bosco, Hospet) were also participants among others.

Fr. Siju gave a thunderous speech, during which he mentioned the purpose of the gathering. The ongoing trainees and alumni were facilitated to get acquainted with each other. Thereby, Fr. George addressed the trainees, telling them about being an entrepreneur someday. After the session, all had a sumptuous meal. Sooner than late, the participants went to fabulous Tunga Badra Dam for trekking where a committee was formed. The committee vouched to meet on January 26, each year when they would discuss the pros and cons of the training program and curve outline for action plan. The day was fully busy with the program and session. Alumni were also very happy about the program.
