In a momentous occasion, Don Bosco Tech Society and RHI Magnesita India celebrated a significant partnership with the inauguration of the first skill training batch at the Don Bosco Tech Najafgarh center, New Delhi. The event, graced by the presence of Mr. Sanjeev Bharadwaj, Head of Reporting and Tax Secretarial and Aparna Kirpal head of internal audit, risk & compliance at RHI Magnesita India, marked the launch of the "Youth Empowerment Program."

The "Youth Empowerment Program" is a collaborative initiative between Don Bosco Tech Society and RHI Magnesita India, aimed at providing skill training to young men and women who are categorized as "NEETS" - Not in Education, Employment, or Training. This program primarily targets individuals in the age group of 18 to 35 years, with a special focus on empowering women into various professions. RHI Magnesita India is supporting 6 states Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Delhi, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh and they will help in training 720 students.

The primary objective of this program is to bridge the skills gap and empower youth by equipping them with valuable vocational skills. This effort will not only benefit NEETS but also extend support to ITI graduates in upgrading their skills to meet the evolving demands of the industry.

Key highlights of the "Youth Empowerment Program" include:

1. Targeted Skill Training: The program will offer a comprehensive three-month skill training curriculum for each batch. This training will encompass a mix of classroom sessions, hands-on practical work, enlightening guest lectures, and industry visits, ensuring that participants receive a holistic learning experience.

2. Integration of Women: One of the program's notable aspects is its commitment to gender equality in the workforce. Special efforts will be made to ensure the inclusion of women in various professions, breaking down traditional barriers and empowering them with equal opportunities.

This collaboration between Don Bosco Tech Society and RHI Magnesita India is a testament to the commitment of both organizations to uplift the youth of India by providing them with the necessary skills and opportunities to succeed in their careers.

Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Sanjeev Bharadwaj, Head of Reporting and Tax Secretarial at RHI Magnesita India, expressed his enthusiasm for the program, stating, “We believe that investing in the skill development of young individuals is an investment in the future of our nation. Through this partnership, we aim to equip these youth with the skills and knowledge required to secure a brighter future for themselves and contribute to the growth of our nation's economy."

Aparna Kirpal, Head of Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance, shared her remarkable journey of perseverance and determination. She emphasized to our students that one's educational background doesn't define their potential; it's all about what you are willing to learn and achieve. She encouraged students to utilize this platform to unleash their opportunities to success.

Don Bosco Tech Society has a strong track record of skill development initiatives, while RHI Magnesita India brings industry expertise to the table. Together, they are set to make a significant impact on the lives of countless young individuals across India.

The inauguration event was a moment of hope and promise for the youth of the country. As the "Youth Empowerment Program" takes its first steps, it is poised to be a beacon of opportunity for those who aspire to gain valuable skills and chart a successful career path.
