Batch Inauguration with the lesson of Self- Confidence

Don Bosco Tech- Maligaon inaugurated Batch 5 under ITC East 2019-20 on November 27, 2019. The objective of the training is to provide technical skills to marginalized and weaker sections of the society and to provide them employment opportunities and gradually bring them into the mainstream of society.

The training was inaugurated by Fr. Bhaskar Raj Chintamalla (Rector, Don Bosco Technical School) in the presence of Bro. Joby Mani (Director) and Fr. Siby John (Asst. Director).

Fr. Bhaskar Raj Chintamalla welcomed everyone and gave a brief explanation about the training program and what they will be benefitting after the training. He gave a lecture on Self Confidence. He begins that Self Confidence is the key to success, or can be called the first step to success. If a person has self-confidence, he has won half the battle. Those people who have self-confidence at work, school, and in their daily life always appear on top of the world. Everything seems to go right for these people and they always seem to present themselves as calm, collected and successful in everything they do. He continues that this confidence ultimately creates opportunities for success. Self-confident people perceive themselves as able to achieve those things they set out to do and this perception creates a reality in their lives. He asked the students to start believing in themselves, act on that belief, and they will start building self-confidence in their life.

Bro. Joby Mani gave an example of a famous Businessman like Anil and Mukesh Ambani and their differences. He narrates that the main reasons for their success were inspiration along with their hard work and enthusiasm and spirit of ‘can do and will do’. They believed in dreaming but dreaming with eyes open.

The students in turn expressed their confidence in the effectiveness of the training in helping them to have secure jobs.

The progamme concluded with a photo session and light refreshment for all.
