Solar Electrical trainees Exposure Visit to Guddada Ranganahalli, Katte hole and V S Halli

Don Bosco Tech- Chitradurga arranged an exposure visit to three places namely Guddada Ranganahalli(Chitradurga), Katte hole (Hiriyur) , V S Halli (Chitradurga) for the Solar Electrical trainees on November 15, 2019. Total 18 trainees were participated in the visit.

Mr. Manjunath Bhagawat (Executive Manager, Selco Solar) welcomed all the trainees and accompanied them. In Guddada Ranganahalli, trainees could see that families using Solar Powered Roti Rolling Machine and Solar Powered Xerox Machine. Per day, they are making 400 Roti and 150 Xerox copies respectively and getting good income out of that.

In Katte Hole village, trainees find a livelihood that is so primitive yet so fulfilling, where there is no electricity. They don't lack any basic facility and they are very grateful to Selco Solar organization for providing the solar energy to the people in that area. Now, they are happy using TV and Lights powered by solar energy. Don Bosco Tech trainees were all wonder stuck to experience the first-hand knowledge of the machines and the way life moves on in Katte Hole.

At the end of the visit, all the trainees expressed their joy and said visit was a wonderful, fruitful and useful experience for them, which would help them in their career in the future. The visit concluded with gratitude and heartiest thanks to Mr. Manjunath Bhagwath and all the management staff for their support and assistance to make the visit successfully.
