A session on Marketing for Trainee Associate Domain

On Friday, November 29, 2019, Don Bosco Tech- Chitradurga arranged a first guest lecture for Trainee Associate Domain. Mr. Nuveen Kumar, Marketing Executive from Chitradurga, was invited as a resource person for the day. Mr Nuveen Kumar started his job as Retail Marketing Trainer in Don Bosco Tech- Chitradurga, later become a "Marketing Executive" in Income-generating Programme (IGP) at Don Bosco Tech- Chitradurga. He visited the center and shared his experience with trainees of Trainee Associate Domain.

He gave an introduction about Marketing and started with the basics of Retail and sales sector. He discussed types of marketing like Tele Marketing, Digital Marketing, Direct Market, Indirect Market etc. Mr Nuveen Kumar discussed the difference between consumer and sales associates and explained how to deal with customer and the importance of communication skill in this sector.

Then, he spoke about selling additional products to a customer across different customer categories. It is about delivering higher satisfaction and value to the customer. He pointed out the information about the cost of the product, Discount, price and promotional activities etc.

The session was very informative and ended by a vote of thanks from trainees.
