Ajmal a 26-year-old boy, from Punalur, a small village in Kollam District of Kerala, was not able to go for further studies after class 10 due to a financial crisis in his family. His father left the home to start a new family, leaving Ajmal’s entire family alone & shattered. The situation created by his father led his Mother to move out for menial work to sustain her livelihood and to fulfill the very basic needs of her family. His mother worked as a laborer in a village, during this process she fell sick. Ajmal being the only son of the family had to take the burden of his sick mother.

During the pandemic, the family suffered a lot struggling how to survive. Meanwhile, Ajmal got to know about the online course offered by Don Bosco Tech Society with employment opportunities. Without any delay, he contacted the center team expressing his need for a job because of the hardship faced by his family. Keeping his situation under consideration the trainers consoled him and suggested he join the online course. They provided him with all the required information regarding the training. After the counseling session, he decided to join the E-Commerce course.

In the beginning, it was very difficult for him to get himself adjusted in the course, as he was very much depressed by his family issues. The trainers tried their best to counsel him and help him to adjust. He realized that if he is stuck with the thought of being helpless, he will not succeed. After few days a visible change was found in Ajmal as he became active and was communicating well with other trainees. A ray of confidence was found in Ajmal. He showed his utmost dedication in all training sessions. He got a good command of English and computer as well.

After completing the course Ajmal attended the first telephonic interview with the help of Don Bosco Tech society (Domain trainer). Choosing Don Bosco Tech Society made him realize that he has made a good choice in such a depressing situation. Because of his interest and dedication, he got placed as a salesman in KRAZ SUPER MARKET LLC AT Abu Shagara, in Dubai with a salary of Rs.25000/-per month with food & Accommodation.

Now he is a Salesman and he is satisfied with his job. He is happy to see his family coming out from such a dilapidated condition only by his efforts. It is like dream coming true for him to work in Dubai.
