22-year old Chandan Kumar Gupta is the elder son of Shambu Gupta (Father) and Latita Devi (Mother). He has two brothers and one sister. Chandan was born and brought up in Uttam Nagar, Delhi. The parents had to work really hard to look after the family. He started earning money at the age of 17 years. In the beginning, he accompanied his father on his shop. His father runs a grocery shop in his small house and earns seven thousand per month.

It was very difficult for his parents to look after the family and educations of their children in a metro city like Delhi. Somehow Chandan pass Intermediate in first division. Now he was mature enough to understand the miserable condition of his parents. Thus, he decided to quit education and started looking for some sort of work to help his family. He started working wherever he found any work to get daily wages.

One day, he came across an advertisement being made by Don Bosco Tech Staff in uttam Nagar street. Advertisement was regarding three months vocational training which includes OJT of one month launched by Don Bosco Tech in partnership with NSDC. From that advertisement, he came to know about all the facilities provided by Don Bosco Tech such as free training, hostel facilities at free of cost, placement support and so on.

The advertisement became a turning point for Chandan kumar Gupta, He decided to join the training program. Thus, the next day he immediately enrolled himself in the 3rd batch of CNC training program at Don Bosco Tech - Okhla Centre.

As expected, after completing training program he passed the examination and attended an interview being conducted by “HONDA”, Gujarat. We are pleased to state that now Chandan is getting Rs 12,500/- every month along with other allowances from Honda Company.
