Hails from the small village Rungbee Division of Mungpoo. Life was not easy for Prashant Tamang. He lost his father Saran Tamang when he was fifteen years old. After that time his family suffered very much. His mother used to work at Cinchona plantation but that was not enough for their family to survive. He did all the menial works to feed his family but he was not satisfied with those kinds of works. He worked hard but salary was very low so he was totally disappointed and had lost the hope to make his career bright.

One day he got the information about Don Bosco Tech Gayaganga from his brother-in-law who was working at Navajeevan Hospital. He came to the centre the other day and met all the trainers and asked the criteria to get to the training and about the courses available. After the counselling he was selected for Hospitality Management course. 

For three months. During his training period he was very punctual and submissive. He was one of the best trainees among all. After the completion of the course he was selected for F&B steward at Platinum Hotel, Rajkot city. He got 6500 Stipend with free food, accommodation and medical facilities.

Now he is working well and the trainers got good feedback from the GM of platinum as well.

Now Prashant is very happy and satisfied with the kind of job he chose. He found it very interesting and is comfortable with his skills and abilities. He thanked Don Bosco Tech for helping him chose the right Job and for the guidance he received during his training from all the trainers which is helping him now.

At last he said he would inform everyone those who are in need of job, dropouts, stagnant, etc. He would help them as much s he could by giving them the information about Don Bosco Tech .
