It was a jubilant moment for Don Bosco Tech (Madhuranthagam) to witness its 40 students, who were placed at Bharatham Super Store and are working diligently while fetching a commendable reputation not only for them but also of Don Bosco Tech. Bharatham Super Store is one the famous retail store in Vadapalani which meets all the customer needs under one roof.  Mr. Vetriselvan (Center Coordinator, Don Bosco Tech, Madhuranthagam) visited Bharatham Super Store on September 23, 2015. The purpose of his visit was to meet the placed candidates of Don Bosco Tech and to learn their concerns.
 

All the students come from oppressed and marginalized family background. Struggles and hardship were part of their life until they became a part of Don Bosco Tech. Joining Don Bosco Tech as a trainee in Retail Sales domain was their first step towards better live. During the entire period of the training, they worked hard and participated in all the events, lectures and field visits ardently. After three months of fruitful training, they came out with flying color and were successfully placed after vigorous interview at Bharatham Super Store.
 

In Bharatam store, 40 students successfully are placed and are paid according to their skill sets and experience.  Four of them were appointed as Floor Supervisors, eleven as Cashiers and rest of them as Sales Executives. Apart from remuneration, students are also getting other benefits such as food and accommodation, monthly ration of toiletries etc. Mr. Vignesh Kumar (Managing Director, Bharatham Stores, Chennai) shared his joy about the performance and sincerity of Don Bosco Tech students.  “I am really thankful and indebted to Don Bosco Tech as it is not only revamping youngsters’ skills to make their life brighter but also building up nation’s future pillars by giving back to the society to make a difference,” says Mr. Vignesh Kumar. He assured to recruit candidates only from Don Bosco Tech.  It was indeed a proud moment for Don Bosco Tech and a great example set to the upcoming batch.
