One such effort helped me knowing about the DB Tech’s BASE Programme being launched especially for the poor and needy youth. This is a training programme that not only train people in different domain but also helps them get placed in the industry. Instantly after knowing, I visited the DB Tech Trasi centre, completed all the formalities and enrolled for the Hospitality domain. I can never forget my first day at the class, I was really happy with the surroundings; I got a chance to meet many new people. I was feeling as if I have come to the most appropriate place. With training, my life, my hope, my aspirations started changing. The training not only gave me opportunity to skill-up myself but also to learn English, operate computer, speak in public without any fear through several activities held. The Interactive sessions, discussions, role plays on different subjects being carried out under the guidance of trainers prove to be very useful. The best thing about the programme was the computer education, I was really happy at being able to operate computer without anyone’s assistance at the completion of the training. These are some of the initial achievements; if I will start listing further achievements, one page will not be sufficient.

 

Once, my training got completed, I was interviewed by Moti Mahal located at Mangalore; it is a 3 Star Hotel. It was the great opportunity for me to work and earn a better living to support my poor family. Luckily, I got selected for the job at a monthly remuneration of Rs. 4500/-. “We feel greatly satisfied to see our son being dressed in a top styled uniform and earning an amount sufficient for bearing the family needs.” says his parents after he got the job. Along with salary, I am getting other benefits as well such as P.F., E.S.I.C, three times meals and accommodation facility, in addition to Tip.  All the credit for this wonderful achievement goes to DB Tech and its trainers.
