18-year old Sonali belongs to a poor family. Her father is a farmer and mother is a house wife. Sonali wanted to complete her education and work as academician but due to financial condition of her family, she discontinued her study after the completion of matriculation. But Sonali wanted to support her family so she started working as a teacher in a school but as she was less educated her salary was not enough to fulfill her monthly expenditure so she left her teaching job.

Later she came to know about the free skill development courses of Don Bosco Tech-Majhauliya. She came to the centre and enquire about vocational courses. After two days she enrolled in short term skill training program conducted by Don Bosco Tech Soceity.

Sonali is a sober, laborious, punctual and well-disciplined. While training she learnt many skills in very less time. She was one of the wise trainees and obtained good marks in assessment test.

After training she joined as a Guest-Service Associate in Kayzen FMC, Patna. Her current salary is Rs.6500/- per month plus food and accommodation. Now she is working happily and also helping her family financially.
