Dhanamati Munda belongs to a poor family. And she lost her parents six years back and had to look after herself with her handicapped sibling, who is elder than her. She could only complete her studies till 9th standard because of all sorts of financial hurdles due to the abject poverty and absence of any absolute support.

She was clueless about her future. At this crisis, Dhanmati came to know about the free skill training programme offered by Don Bosco Tech through a friend. The very next day she rushed to the nearest Don Bosco Tech center located at Sambalpur along with her friends to find out the offers given by Don Bosco Tech. And she understood that the training is fully free of cost with uniform, books and everything. She decided to join without any objection.

After counselling, she opted for Food & Beverage Steward domain and enrolled herself into the domain. After completion of her training she was listed to attend an interview for hotel Bay Leaves, Vijaywada. She was very happy on being selected and joined on December 31, 2016, as a Steward with a package of Rs.6000 per month.

She happily says that “Don Bosco Tech laid the foundation of my dream career and shaped my destiny.”
