Dhawal a young boy from a remote village called Shirajgaon Kasba in Amravati District of Maharashtra dreamed of helping his family by getting a job in a good company. Don Bosco Tech has helped him to fulfil his dream through an Assistant Electrician course and a 0ne-month add-on Solar PV installer course. He was determined to learn step by step to achieve what he wanted and this was made possible after he joined the Bosco Academy for skills and Employment Training program. He is now a Senior Manager at Unique Solar Solutions in Maharashtra earning a monthly salary of 25K.

 His family was completely dependent on the earning of his father, Pankaj  Kariya, who is running a small shop for clothes. Dhawal wanted to help his family financially. Luck struck him when he came across a mobilization camp organized by Don Bosco Tech team members of the Amravati (Maharashtra) centre.

Before joining the Don Bosco Tech program, he was struggling to get some opportunities in and around the city. He would travel many places to try his luck but could not succeed due to his low qualification. But Don Bosco Tech gave him an opportunity. After the counselling, he joined the Assistant Electrician course with a one-month add-on course of Solar PV Installer course funded by the SELCO Foundation at Amravati centre. His interest and skills to learn made him different from other trainees. After the training, he got placed as a trainee in Local shop Khan Electricals with a monthly salary of 5700k.

Working at the local shop was not enough for him as he wanted to earn more. For the second time, he approached Don Bosco Tech to place him in a bigger company. With the experience and knowledge that he has gained, he effortlessly got a job at Unique Solar Solutions located in Amravati district (Maharashtra) as a Senior Manager with a salary of 25K per month. He is very happy and thankful to Don Bosco Tech Society for helping him find a better job.

With his passion, perseverance, and determination, Dhawal has proved that success is possible when you face your fears, follow through on your goals, and refuse to give up.
