Phurmit Lepcha is a 25 year old lady who was struggling with her life. And she belongs to a very poor family with her old parents and with her son. She was married when she was 18 years old and have a son of 8 Years old. Her husband left her after the 5 years of marriage.

Don Bosco Team met her while conducting the mobilization activity at Samdong busty which is a rural area of Sikkim. They talked to her and told about Don Bosco Tech and its free skill development courses. She has showed very much interest to join and also shared about the wonderful opportunity to her friends also. When she came to the Don Bosco centre for taking the admission, she told that the reason to join Don Bosco Tech is the opportunities and growth of the future.

She was one of the best student in the batch and she always stood as an example to the other students like always punctual and obedient. Though she was an average with the academics but her enthusiasm and energy always tend to be the best in the class. 

Because of her hard work and dedication, she got placed in Club Mahindra Hotels & Resort in Kerala with the salary of 8000 per month. And also she was awarded as the ‘Employee of the month’.
